The fact that we’ve been so patient for a second Klaxons records goes to show just how much we all want it to be as good as the last. Generally, most of us are yet to turn on the new ravers (yes! New Rave was real!) and with a new LP finally confirmed for release this summer, the wait is almost over. And to celebrate this fact, the trio/quartet will play 4 small club shows.

Having been forged in the fires of Southend-on-Sea, Loud And Quiet has witnessed all the greats take to the stage of Chinnery’s, so it’s good to see that toilet on the list. Ordinary Boys, Bluetones, The Rifles – all the true ground-breakers of modern rock’n’roll have been there… and some where-are-they-n0w folk like Arctic Monkeys and Mystery Jets too.

The full, modest list looks like this…

Chinnery’s – Southend-on-Sea – May 26
Colchester Arts Centre – Colchester – May 27
White Rabbit – Plymouth – Jun 2
Guildhall – Plymouth – Jun 3

It’s hardly a super tour, sure, but it’s nice to see signs of life coming from the Klaxons camp once again.
