OFFSET BOOK LAUNCH TONIGHT (AUG 5th)

To celebrate the ongoing success of Offset Festival, photographer Thomas Kavanagh has collated his pictures from last year’s festival into a book called ‘ECC. Photographs from Offset Festival 2009′.

Kavanagh has long been on the new music scene, documenting new wave/punk fashion and music as far back as Southend’s Junk Club. At Offset, you can usually find him in and around the ECC tent, where the festival’s best dressed people are.

This evening [August 5th 2010] marks the launch of his book and the start of an exhibition at the Kenton Arms pub, Hackney, London – a site of much plotting and planning of last year’s festival.

Get there for 8pm to see a selection of photographs on display and have a flick through ‘ECC. Photographs from Offset Festival 2009′.

Kenton Arms, 38 Kenton Road, Hackney E9 7AB
