British writer Jon Savage has collated a bunch of tracks from primitive Californian punk bands, which will be released on November 15th by Domino Records.

‘Black Hole: Californian Punk 1977-1980’ is Savage’s celebration of the unsung, angry heroes that bridge the apathetic, post-hippy era of the mid ’70s and the unstoppable rise of US hardcore in the early ’80s. Featuring – amongst others – The Germs, Urinals and The Dead Kennedys, the release will be the writer’s second collaboration with Domino following 2008’s ‘Dreams Come True: Jon Savage Presents Classic First Wave Electro 1982-1987’.
