Joe Mount’s Metronomy have announced that they will return in 2011 with a new, free downloadable single on January 31st, followed by third studio album ‘The English Riviera’ in April of next year.

Joe Mount’s Metronomy have announced that they will return in 2011 with a new, free downloadable single on January 31st, followed by third studio album ‘The English Riviera’ in April of next year.

‘She Wants’ is the first track that we’ll hear from an album that’ll follow 2008’s ‘Nights Out’, which will be available to download for free at www.metronomy.co.uk from January 31st. It’ll be the first song the band have released as a quartet, following the departure of Gabriel Stebbing and addition of drummer Anna Prior and new bassist Gbenga Adelekan.

As for ‘The English Riviera’, that’s penned for an April release when the band will tour the below towns.
