British indie label Domino Records have announced that for one week only they will broadcast an FM radio station, on air from June 6 2011, and simultaneously broadcast online.

Domino Radio will be up and running for just one week, but in that short space of time the record company intends to make the most of playing John Peel with the help of their international roster.

So far announced are shows and appearance from Animal Collective, Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip/About Group, Four Tet, Franz Ferdinand, Dirty Projectors, Robert Wyatt, Steve Mason, Smith Westerns [pictured], Wild Beasts, Owen Pallett, Anna Calvi, Austra, with more to be unveiled soon.

They’re not keeping it exclusively close to home either, calling on Faris Badwan, No Pain In Pop and Angular Records, amongst others, to keep the airwaves full of interesting alternative sounds on 87.7fm and www.dominorad.io
