Having spent some time in Barcelona for Primavera Sound at the end of May, this month’s issue of the paper is something of a special, featuring exclusive interviews in the Med with tUnE-yArDs, Battles, Moon Duo, Baths, The Fresh & Onlys and Prince Rama.

Festival co-founder Pablo Soler also gave us a brief history of the three-day party over a Spanish lunch, and we documented a heap of live action, of course, from the likes of Pulp, Odd Future, Big Boi, Sufjan Stevens, PJ Harvey and John Cale.

Back home we caught up with concept band Colourmusic, noir pop duo Husband and a band formerly called FILMS who now go by the name .

Washed Out also talked us through his debut album ‘Within and Without’.

And in our reviews section you’ll find new album by…

The Horrors / Blanck Mass / Crystal Antlers / Atari Teenage Riot / Milk Maid / The Coathangers / Memory Tapes / Gardens & Villa / The Blood Arm / Julian Lynch / Dave I.D. / Digitalism / Rival Consoles / Wiley / White Hills… and more.
