In aid of the National Autistic Society, Jarvis Cocker will take time out of Pulp’s reunion duties this Friday [June 17 2011] to man the dodgems at a steam fair in Fulham, London.

Carters Steam Fair will open at 4pm on Eel Brook Common, Fulham, to raise money for the worthy cause, with Cocker in charge of the bumpers.

Comedian Harry Hill will also be there, manning the coconut shy, while Adam Buxton will be in charge of hook a duck, and Johnny Borrell will be at the controls of the lightning skid ride.

Entrance will be by wristband only, which can be bought at www.autism.org.uk/carterssteamfair.

All proceeds will go to the National Autistic Society.
