Peaking Lights‘ zonked out dub record ‘936’, released earlier in 2011 via the Not Not Fun label, is said to be the most demanded record at London’s Rough Trade East store. That’s what we’ve been told, which might be a lie, but it could easily not be.

Either way, the husband/wife duo from California have signed to Domino Records imprint Weird World [Smith Westerns, Washed Out], and will release ‘936”s successor in 2012. But, seeing as that’s forever away, what we’re really excited about is the duo’s recently announced show at London’s Plastic People on 6 December 2011, hosted by local promoters Feeding Time.

Tickets are on sale now, and it’s currently the band’s only confirmed UK show. Get one HERE.
