Having become the first artist to ever win the Mercury Prize twice, PJ Harvey continues with ‘firsts’ later this month, playing two shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall, the second of which will be streamed live on her website, www.pjharvey.net.

The two shows at the Victorian concert hall (Harvey’s first at the venue) on October 30th and 31st sold out long before ‘Let England Shake’ was announced the winner of this year’s Mercury, but with gig streaming on the up fan will be able to see the show on the 31st, live, via a stream.

It’s hardly like being there, and it’s not free, but it’s better than nothing.

Access codes will be available to purchase at pjharvey.net, and also at facebook.com/pjharvey and guardian.co.uk/music, where the show will also be streamed live.
