Kindered spirits in lawless, sample-heavy music that they called ‘free pop’, Londoners Kwes and Micachu released their first Kwesachu mixtape back in 2009. They’ve since kept themselves busy releasing their own material and producing countless others, but ‘Kwesachu Vol. 2’ is coming, and to celebrate the close friends will play a special show at London’s Royal Festival Hall on April 23rd.

Playing separate live sets followed by a collaborative performance with the help of special guests, Kwes will also be celebrating the release of new EP ‘Meantime’ (coming April 30th via Warp) and Michacu will no doubt preview some new material from her forthcoming ‘Never’ LP, released July 23rd via Rough Trade.
