Patrick Wolf is still only 29, but in 2012 he clocked up his tenth year of making music. It’s a fact he’ll celebrate with ‘Sundark & Riverlight’ on September 25th – a double album of old material re-recorded.

Of his reworked song Wolf say: “As a songwriter I realised that some songs take on a life of their own once released. I never knew that “Paris” from Lycanthropy would become such an anthem for my crowd. Often when I sing the songs live after they are recorded, new words or meanings come to light then i improvise depending on how I am feeling that night. I thought It was time after ten years to take a moment to understand and document what these songs have grown up to be while I’ve been travelling them around the world the last decade.”

He’ll support the release with these following tour dates…

29th – The Old Vic, London

6th – Lowry (Quays Theatre), Manchester
7th – The Gate, Cardiff
20th – The Sage, Gateshead
24th – Arts Centre, Warwick
25th – Cottiers, Glasgow

9th – The Ritz, Penzance
10th – St. Geroges, Bristol
11th – St. Mary’s Church, Brighton
