Birmingham’s Swim Deep release first single since signing with Chess Club Records.


When Swim Deep released ‘King City’ earlier this year, they proved that bands from the Midlands are no longer hung up on wanting to sound Oasis and the like. The band’s debut single seemed to have more in common with the US West Coast than the North, even hanging itself out as a love letter to Jenny Lindberg from Warpaint.

After the clamor it was London indie Chess Club Records that managed to sign the band, and ‘Honey’ is Swim Deep’s first single for their new label, released November 5th. Check it out below and catch the band at the following tour dates where they support Spector…
