Willis Earl Beal announces new album with live dates and new track.

When we met Willis Earl Beal in Loud And Quiet 36 last year, he told us one hell of a story – one that included the young singer being kicked out of the army, living on the streets and getting to the final rounds of American Idol only to lose the plot, get drunk and run away.

Then came Beal’s debut album of lo-fi soul, recorded on a karaoke machine. The follow up to ‘Acousmatic Sorcery’ is called ‘Nobody Knows’, features Cat Power on one track and will be released 9 September 2013, via HXC/XL Recordings.

The first track to come for the new, more hi-fi album is ‘Everything Unwinds’, which you can check out below.
