Courtney Barnett’s new video is really quite a brilliant comment on the here-today-gone-tomorrow nature of the music industry

Courtney Barnett‘s second album (or debut, really, when you consider that 2013’s ‘A Sea of Split Peas’ was two previous EPs sandwiched together), ‘Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit’, will be released 23 March 2015 through the House Anxiety label and Marathon Artists.

‘Pedestrian At Best’ is the first track to come from it, and this accompanying video – depicting the Australian singers as yesterday’s news, in the form of a clown that’s just not pulling in the laughs anymore – gives you an idea of just how good the record is.
