The new video for ‘Woman’s Work’ – a new track from U.S. Girls – is a bit weird, but we’re still looking forward to her new album in September

If the name U.S. Girls rings a bell, it might be due to the Toronto-based pop experimentalist’s (her name is Meg Remy, by the way) 2012 release on Fat Cat, entitled ‘Gem’. Or maybe you even knew her before that, via one of her 3 other LPs.

Now, Remy has signed a deal with 4AD, which is bound to make her more of a name on the alt. circuit, and last year’s single ‘Damn That Valley’ has already got the ball rolling there.

Today, her first album for the label has announced with this new, self-edited video.

‘Woman’s Work’ – along with ‘Damn That Valley’ – will appear on ‘Half Free’, released 25 September 2015.
