Listen to ‘Cardamom’, the first track from Nathalie Mering’s new EP, out next month

Last year Natalie Mering released a breakthrough album of collaged folk as Weyes Blood.

‘The Innocents’ was a strange mix of old country songs of love and haunted tape collage, and next month the Brooklyn-based singer will follow it up with a 4-track EP called ‘Cardamom Times’ on Mexican Summer.

It’ll be out from October 9th, and here’s the first track from it, which you’ll especially enjoy if you like you folk music from the ’60s and from the west coast of America.
