We’ve just sent our April 2016 edition to print. It’ll be in stores this weekend, featuring Let’s Eat Grandma, Bobby Gillespie, Lionlimb, The Goon Sax, J Dilla and more.

For this month’s cover feature of Loud And Quiet we spent a day in Norwich with experimental teenage pop duo Let’s Eat Grandma. In between the bursts of icy rain, they sang James Blunt songs as if they were dying cats, danced around a roof to Michael Jackson and told us exactly what’s wrong with the education system in Britain. Considering they left school last year, they should know. It was a lot of fun, and the first of many interviews for this pretty fearless group, no doubt.

There’s a lot more brand new music throughout this issue, too – interviews with Minnesota rapper and Kanye-collaborator Allan Kingdom, mellow Brooklyn duo Lionlimb, Youtube sample-miner and producer The Range and more teenagers in Brisbane band The Good Sax.

Mothers are also young and new; Bobby Gillespie isn’t, but you’d never know from our Tell Me About It interview with him; and James F. Thompson retells the story of J Dilla as his long lost album ‘The Diary’ finally receives an official release.

You can pick up a copy for free from any of our national stockists, from Saturday (March 19), and now in New York City, too.

Pre order a copy here and we’ll send it out to wherever you are.
