The June 2016 edition of Loud And Quiet is out Saturday, featuring LEVELZ, Mitski, Jackie Lynn, Shock Machine, Alex Cameron, Cat’s Eyes and Oliver Coates.

Last night we sent our June 2016 edition to the printers. It’ll be arriving in stores around the UK and New York from this weekend (May 28th).

A pretty exciting issue, this one, featuring 14-strong Manchester collective LEVELZ, who are challenging the preconceptions of music coming from their legendary hometown and pushing UK grime forward as they do it, throwing in elements of funk, soul, disco, jungle and hip-hop at mad all-night raves.

Other new musicians featured this month include cellist-turned-electronic-artist Oliver Coates, Haley Fohr’s country alter-ego Jackie Lynn, New York’s Mitski (whose new, fourth album might be the best guitar record I’ve heard this year), and Berlin based enigma and ‘Mr Showbiz’ Alex Cameron – our issue’s most entertaining read.

You can also see inside Cat’s Eyes‘ home, and former Klaxon James Righton, now recording as Shock Machine, discusses practically everything.

Pick up a copy from Saturday, when you’ll also be about to read it here on the site.
