It should be enough to peak your interest to tell you that Californian foursome Feels’ self-titled debut album was produced by Ty Segall, and it was released by John Dwyer’s (Thee Oh Sees) Castle Face Records.

It is therefore reliably quality and strange in equal measure. ‘Tell Me’ is their latest track and Feels have made a compelling and weird video for the song.

A being made out of beauty magazines tears pages from their face, before eventually opening up their brain. It’s pretty sinister. Someone noted that it all looks a bit Rocko’s Modern Life, which is true.

They’re doing some shows in the UK soon. Join the bizarre fun at:

Dorset, End of the Road festival – 4 September
Stafford, Cellar Bar – 5
London, Shacklewell Arms – 6
Hastings, The Observer Building – 16
Glasgow, Freakender Festival – 17
Bristol, Crofters Right – 19
