A while back we brought you a track, ‘The Cabin Is Cold’, from London’s Blueprint Blue. It was from the band’s first Neil Young/The Grateful Dead influenced EP.

Since then, the trio, who feature previous members of S.C.U.M, have been busy recording their debut album direct to tape with James Hoare from Ultimate Painting.

Before that release they have a new single ‘When There’s Sun’, out on 16 September, and you can watch the new video for it below.

But first, some words from Blueprint Blue:

“The video was shot by our friend Victor Gutierrez who came to hang out with us for a couple of days while we tie-dyed some T-shirts to sell at our gigs. We borrowed a bunch of amps, loaded them into the band wagon and set up in our friends back garden. Thanks to everyone who let us borrow their amplifiers! Come and get a tie-dye T-shirt at one of or shows!”

So here it is.

They’ve got some festivals coming up, too:

Electric Fields Festival, Tim Peaks Stage – 26/27 August
Festival No. 6, Tim Peaks Stage – 1-3 September
