Alright, so it’s just a couple of weeks away, this year’s End of the Road festival.

On the line-up at the Dorset event: headliners Joanna Newsom, Bat For Lashes, Animal Collective, plus the likes of GOAT, The Shins, Teenage Fanclub, Whitney and Anna Meredith.

Recently we picked the stuff we’re most looking forward to, and also spoke to organiser Simon Taffe about EOTR’s 11-year evolution.

Other important stuff. Down on site, we’re going to be hosting a stage on the Friday. We’re also bringing our Midnight Chats podcast series to this year’s festival, where we’ll be recording a live episode with a special guest artist.

Finally, we’re throwing Bat For Lashes’ wedding reception. Details >>>

We want you there. Seriously, we do. So we’re giving away a pair of weekend tickets for this year’s festival.

All you got to do is email us at info@loudandquiet.com – tell us what track we should play at Bat For Lashes’  wedding disco.

Not a trick question, just tell us what you’d always like to hear at a wedding but never gets played because the DJ still thinks that ‘Kama Chameleon’ is a good idea. So we’re looking for non-cheesy classic here, people, something to make the crowd go wild and think, oh yeah, I forget ‘Buffalo Stance’ even existed – I love this song. We’ll pick the best one, give you the tickets and, hey, we’ll play it on the night, too.

Email us with: Your track selection (artist/track title), your full name, your contact telephone number. Put ‘End of the Road’ in the subject line.

We’ll be picking a winner on Friday 19 August and notify you shortly afterwards.

The bumf. You gotta be 18 or above to enter, and no ‘Oops Upside Your Head’. Automatic disqualification.
