You might well know Matt Berry for his roles in The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh or – a personal favourite – Garth Merenghi’s Dark Place. Or maybe it’s Toast of London for you, a show he created, wrote and starred in as Stephen Toast, the narcissistic actor cheated by the world of showbiz.

Berry’s first love was music, though, and he also releases records via the Acid Jazz label, inspired by his childhood heroes Jean-Michel Jarre and Mike Oldfield.

He releases his fifth album, ‘Small Hours’, on September 16th, influenced by strange dreams, which is one of the subjects we talked about for this episode of Midnight Chats. Have a listen below and subscribe by searching Midnight Chats on iTunes.
