'OH:IO'
words by Charlotte Rumsey
Out of the gloom of Norwich comes an assault of sheer musical chaos from six-piece Bearsuit. Senseless, chaotic and brilliant, with the child-like wonder of Belle and Sebastian and tracks such as ‘More Soul than Wigan Casino’ and ‘Steven Fucking Spielberg’, ‘OH:IO’ is largely even less comprehensible than an obscure Flaming Lips B-side. And we love it. ‘Dino Heart’ is that scene from Gremlins 2 when the mischievous monsters are fed after midnight for the first time. All hell (and manner of noises) break loose for colossal fun.

As ultra-hip Parisian label Kitsune continually prove with their ‘numbers’ compilations, they’re dance heads that rarely get it wrong.
