< Stag And Dagger, Shoreditch
words by Charlotte Rumsey

Over 100 music acts, DJ's, art shows and film screenings spread across 15 venues in Shoreditch - arguably the London's creative capital - Stag and Dagger promised to be the most diverse and exciting (not to mention cheapest) of the London all-dayers yet.

Highly anticipated Brooklyn based trio Telepathe's ice cold electronic soundscapes and awkward stage presence are lapped up by the largely art student crowd of the Hoxton Bar and Grill, while in the Vibe Bar’s courtyard Johnny Flynn, tipped as this year's Laura Marling, unfortunately plays his beautifully delicate anti-folk to wanderers on their way in to Vibe or 93 Feet East.

A merciful lack of oversubscription (take heed, Camden Crawl) makes it possible to move from venue to venue - so long as you were prepared for a bit of a walk - but the ever popular Kid Harpoon followed by the Archie Bronson Outfit manage to packed 93 Feet East to the rafters.
