Girl Ray’s latest track ‘Where Am I Now’ is another shot of sweet melancholy

It's the b-side to the North London band's track 'Trouble'

We posted Girl Ray‘s first single Trouble’ not so long ago, along with the news that they’ve signed up to Moshi Moshi.

‘Trouble’ comes out on 25 November, but with that they’ve now put out ‘Where Am I Now’, a new b-side.

It’s another stylish, melodic slice of Veronica Falls-esque pithy lo-fi indie rock from the north London four-piece (they were a three-piece, now recently expanded).

Rita Maria Conry has also directed a smart black and white video to go with it. Their debut album comes out next year.
