Of the 167 different Tame Impala off-shoots so far Pond – who feature on-off-currently-off – former member Nick Allbrook are the most entertaining.

Almost 10 years into the project they’ve just announced a new album, ‘The Weather’, out on 5 May. It is, of course, produced by Kevin Parker and sounds not unlike Tame Impala.

‘Sweep Me Off My Feet’ is the cosmic track they’ve delivered with the news that they’ll play London’s Moth Club on Valentine’s Day.
