Kurt Cobain’s ashes stolen
The remains of Kurt Cobain have reportedly been stolen from Courtney Love’s Hollywood home, along with a lock of the singer’s hair and some jewellery.
Reported in today’s (June 2nd) News Of The World, Love has commented on the shocking event, saying, "I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal. If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do."
Until now the whereabouts of Cobain’s remains – minus those scattered near his home in Washington State and those at a New York Buddhist temple – have been unknown but it emerged today that they were kept by Love in a pink teddy bear-shaped bag.
Love went on to say, "They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again."
