Relaunch Latest/A big 'ol party
When we had the idea to relaunch Loud And Quiet magazine as a much bigger deal (yep, we're calling ourselves a big deal these days) we probably thought it'd be stroll in the park. It's not.But we've turned a corner this week and so cock sure with our progress are we that we've started planning a relaunch party already, admittedly before we have anything to relaunch.
Still, it's going to be at Hoxton Square Bar And Kitchen on May 21st. "That's an age away!" you're probably spitting, cos it is. But fear not as the first new issue of Loud And Quiet Magazine will hit shelves a month earlier.
It's not going to be A5 anymore. It's going to be A4. It's going to include 12 more pages and be printed on posh thick matte paper (y'know so it still feels all cult and underground). We're also going to print 5 times as many issues and be available EVERYWHERE! And we're going to remain FREE despite what you've heard, namely from us when we were going through our 'Fat Elvis' stage. But most importantly we're not changing the way we do things, content wise. We'll still be featuring new, interesting bands first, through the whole magazine, doing our best to hold on to our souls and not give The Wombats a cover.
It's going to be good! And it's going to happen! Any imput is always welcome at info@loudandquiet.com, be it about the mag, www.loudandquiet.com or who you'd like to see play at our Hoxton show off.
We've always appreciated your patience, and do more so now than ever. Your favourite free music mag (presumpsuous, aren't we?) will be back with you on a monthly basis soon.
