In the early hours of this morning, we returned to End of the Road festival with our Silent Disco Time Hop party in tow, with little regard for popular opinion or demand.

Usually we set ourselves up with one channel exclusively playing music from the current year, and the other playing nostalgic hits from 20 years earlier. It’s never really been a fair fight, and with EOTR celebrating 15 years in 2021, we did something a little different this time around. Channel 1 did stick to music from 2001, but channel 2 celebrated the history of the festival by only playing artists who’ve performed at EOTR before.

There was a lot of Midlake in the early days, who, as Midlakey as they are, wouldn’t have made for good opening party fodder at 2am on a Friday morning. But there’s been plenty to dance to over End of the Road’s history, and here’s 4 hours proof of that.

It wasn’t in this order, but this is what we forced people to dance to last night… or listen to channel 1.
