Following its cancellation in 2020, End of the Road festival (2-5 September) has been striving to keep as much of its planned lineup in place for 2021 as possible. They’ve done a brilliant job of it, with the likes of Little Simz, King Krule, Black Country, New Road, Squid and many more staying put for this year’s festival. What they couldn’t have planned for was the travel restrictions put on American bands, which have now prevented many of them from travelling to the UK for the event.

It means some are out (Pixies, Bright Eyes, Big Thief, Perfume Genius), but while that looks like a blow, the British acts they’ve replaced them with feel like first choices. Below is a full list of the new lineup, with the addition of Sleaford Mods, Stereolab and Hot Chip as headliners alongside King Krule, plus Arab Strap, Johnny Greenwood, John Grant and more.

What’s more, even though EOTR is long sold out, a limited number of late tickets will be put on sale on May 20th.
