It was the best of times

Almost two years since it was first announced, the inaugural edition of London’s Wide Awake festival took place at the beginning of September. It was worth the wait: an event that not only brought together the cream of the UK’s emerging DIY talent, but also sought to do something different and more responsible with the festival format.
