No catch – you can come to End of the Road for free
For the second year running, Loud And Quiet is a partner of End of the Road festival, which takes place at Larmer Tree Gardens, Dorset, Wiltshire, from Aug 31 – Sept 3.
Maybe you found this post from reading Loud And Quiet 87, featuring our guide to the festival, or maybe you didn’t. Either way, we’ve got a couple of tickets you give away to this year’s festival.
You know how these things work – there’s a ridiculously easy question to answer, and then you’ll be put into a draw to win. Let’s get on with it.
Precisely how to enter:
Create a new email to email@example.com, put EOTR COMPETITION in the subject line and send us your name, where you’re from, and whether you give us permission to put you on our newsletter list (a simple YES or NO. No hard feelings either way, although we don’t overload you – it only gets sent once in a while and tells you about our new issues, podcasts etc). Also, include the answer to the following question.
Father John Misty is one of this year’s EOTR headliners. Which band did he previously play drums in?
– Fleet Foxes
– Fleetwood Mac
We’ll pick a winner on 21 July 2017, and with any luck you’ll be joining us, watching Mac DeMarco, Father John Misty, Bill Callahan and load of others.

Support Loud And Quiet from £3 per month and we'll post you our next 9 magazines
As all of us are constantly reminded, it’s getting harder for independent publishers to stay in business, which applies to Loud And Quiet more now than ever, 14 years after we first started printing a magazine that we’ve always given away for free.
Having thought about the best way to support our running costs (the printing and distribution fees, the podcast and production costs etc.) we’d like to ask our readers who really enjoy what we do to subscribe to our next 9 issues over the next 12 months. The cheapest we can afford to do this for works out at £3 per month for UK subscribers, charged yearly.
If that seems like a bit of a punt, you can pay-as-you-go for £4 per month and cancel any time you like. European and world plans are available too, at the lowest rate we can afford.
It’s not just a donation – you’ll receive a physical copy of our magazine through your door and some extra perks detailed on our subscribe page. Digital subscriptions are available worldwide for £15 per year. We hope you consider this a good deal and the best way to keep Loud And Quiet in your life without its content, independence or existence suffering.
