We’ve made our Sweet 16 column into a podcast for our members – listen to Ep 1 with Waxahatchee

One of our favourite features that run in each edition of Loud And Quiet is our Sweet 16 column, where artists recall what they remember from that teenage year – where they were, what they were listening to, just how horrible the whole thing was. Or not.

We’ve been wanting to make it into a podcast for a while, and now we have.

This one is going to be exclusively for our members, who also receive our magazines, playlists, monthly discounts in our DRIFT Records collection, merch, offers and our eternal gratitude.

For our first episode though, we wanted to share it with the world. You never know, some listeners might just love it enough to consider becoming a member to receive the rest of the series over the next 8 weeks. It’s the support of music fans that’s keeping us here.

So here’s episode 1 with Katie Crutchfield, aka Waxahatchee, on growing up in Birmingham, Alabama. We’re keeping the episodes nice and short so you can get back to panicking. And as you’ll hear, just like the in-mag column, we’ve kept the whole thing in the artist’s words.

If you’re already a member of Loud And Quiet, you should have received an email with details on how to access all future episodes. If that’s gone missing, please drop us a line at info@loudandquiet.com.
