For the November 2016 edition of Loud And Quiet we travelled to Japan to hang out with Gold Panda. Photographer Jonangelo Molinari stuck around for an extra few weeks, spending one day snooping around Nara Dreamland, an abandoned amusement park built in 1961, based on Disneyland.
Dreamland closed down in 2006 (probably because an actual Disneyland opened in nearby Osaka in 2001) and his been left deserted ever since. Here’s how it looks now.
